Much like the partnership that brings you Guard Dispatch, it was an idea thought of in two halves.
Operations and Compliance.
Both Vish and John have experience of the current security industry operationally and with compliance. Both areas extremely important to the end client.
Operationally being efficient and delivering what is sold is imperative in todays market.
So much so, doing it in a compliant way, completes the service delivery to the end client.
Vish was put up with a number of challenges when managing some of the biggest financial sector accounts to deliver an operationally efficient compliant service. He was never able to deliver the service 100% as per the client needs. There was always a gap in the process and had been for many years.
John serviced the security industry through insurance, so compliance was always at the forefront of his business. He dealt with end users and their operational issues on a day-to-day basis.
The idea of Guard Dispatch came after a conversation about a gap in the market. Filling this gap would be a game changer to the industry.
John had built similar things for other industries and both saw the opportunity to custom build a solution for the security industry.
Thus, started the strenuous journey of design and implementation of what we have today.
The main aim was to be able to dispatch to as many guards as possible and then have the full visibility from the point of acceptance to the point of leaving the site. This was the operational side.
From a compliance side, we wanted to make sure the company and guard being used is fully compliant, before even setting foot on a client’s site. To achieve this, we were able to leverage John’s other business, Certracker, which ensures licences and certifications are getting checked daily.
Using past industry experiences, we were able to fill a number of gaps within the industry today. As it was built, other applications were discovered for it with different sized companies which is how the virtual control room was created.
It is built on industry experience, making sure it delivers what the clients want.
Covid also highlighted the importance of ensuring that we have compliant workforce on-site and for clients to have the transparency of who is on site on any given time.
